House of Wyrd Co. Acknowledges that the history and folk-lore/law of plant medicine is drenched in persecution, in particular against indigenous people, women, disabled bodies, the elderly, diaspora populations, and the very land itself. 

 

To work cross-functionally with regulators may seem paradoxical to access, given the long erosion of the commons and our access to plants, food, culture and wellness.  

 

House of Wyrd sets forward the following accessibility policy: 

 

• We will, to the best of our ability, find a method to communicate with collaborators in their preferred language, utilizing online tools or by engaging a translator or interpreter. 

• Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion are more important than the Market. 

• Locating and dismantling violence perpetuated by systemization is our responsibility. 

• We will work towards policies that protect access to traditional and contemporary wisdom 

• We will work to protect water, land and people. 

• We will, to the best of our ability, participate in mutual aid to protect and uphold our accessibility pledge. 

• We will work as hard as we can to respect the rights of past, present and future communities and their access a safe and healthy life and to keep it weird.
